The WarnWetter App provides an array of features to help you stay informed about the weather conditions in Germany. With the free version of the app, you can access:

• Current warning situation for Germany down to municipal level
• Favorites function for on-site (GPS required) and selected locations
• Detailed information on the warning situation
• Configurable warning elements and warning levels
• Configurable alarm function (push)
• Social media sharing function for sharing information from the WarnWetter App via platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or email
• Warnings about natural hazards such as floods, storm surges, and avalanches
• Predicted trajectories of thunderstorm cells
• Coast warnings and lake warnings for Bavarian lakes and Lake Constance
• Video information in case of severe weather situations
• Additional features like configurable widgets, different wind speed units, and light/dark design
• Customizable start page for your favorite products

The WarnWetter App also offers a full version with additional functionalities that can be unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase:

• Map function to display the current weather situation and forecast up to 7 days in advance
• Precipitation differentiated into rain, snow, sleet, and hail (radar and model forecasts)
• Clouds information derived from satellite data and model forecasts
• Lightning information including lightning location and forecasts
• Wind information based on model forecasts
• Temperature information based on model forecasts
• Seamless time control allowing you to view weather data from the past to the future
• Possibility to combine different weather elements like precipitation, clouds, temperature, and wind
• Access to additional measured data and forecasts from various weather stations and points, including weather conditions, temperature, wind, and precipitation
• Extended favorites function for on-site (GPS required) and selected locations
• Advanced measurement data and forecasts up to 7 days in advance, including temperature, precipitation, dew point, humidity, wind, air pressure, sunshine duration, and probability of precipitation

In addition to these features, the WarnWetter App also provides:

• Text reports for federal states, the German coast and sea areas, as well as the Alps and Lake Constance (only available in German)

• Thunderstorm monitor with extended functions such as current thunderstorm cells and lightning data
• Road weather information
• Thermal sensitivity and increased UV intensity alerts
• Model forecasts for warning-relevant events like storms or heavy precipitation

It's worth noting that the one-time in-app purchase can be used on multiple devices with the same account. However, please be aware that the range of functions may vary in older versions of the WarnWetter App.
